Our family of four really enjoyed our stay in Fairhaven. The house was perfect for us with highlights being proximity to the beach, wonderful wood fire (with plenty of wood and kindling provided) and lovely backyard deck overlooking the trees.  Lovely styling indoors and out makes it a really comfortable place to relax in the sunshine.

We had a lovely stay in Torquay,the apartment was fabulous,the kids really enjoyed the extra benefit of having the use of the indoor pool,hot tub and gym,the apartment was so clean,lovely beds,towels to use in the apartment and also the extra towels we could use for the indoor pool. The Hosts answered any questions we had when we couldn’t work the washing machine .Our only issue was we had booked for 3 nights,which cost us @€640(euros) but because we really enjoyed staying in Torquay we decided to stay the extra night and looked at the price with Booking extra night which showed us a price of €145 (euros)for the extra night but when we asked Air BB they gave us a price of €207 for the extra night and would not even communicate with us. I would definitely come back and recommend this apartment but booking extra nights I think should be at a reduced cost when your staying more than 2 nights,thanks Gem and Vincent

The Bushland Retreat at Solterra&Vine was a very comfortable room with excellent amenities in a lovely vineyard environment.   Dinner in the on-site restaurant was an added bonus, as the food was outstanding.   The access instructions were very clear and concise providing simple access.   The communal longe with fireplace was a lovely spot to relax with a nice cuppa and enjoy the ambience.   Overall, it was a terrific stay and we will make this our regular stopover when in Bendigo.

This was my first time choosing AIRBNB for an accommodation, it was great! It is perfect for groups of friends or families traveling together. It is affordable and convenient. The fridge is large, and the kitchen utensils are complete. So, we can cook, drink and chat late into the night, it was truly pleasant.

Fantastic house in an excellent location. Very well set up to accommodate 8 -9 families. All the rooms had ensuite bathrooms. A big communal kitchen with lots of cutlery and crockery. Clean and extremely tidy. The grounds are adjoining the church and the neighbourhood is quiet and quite close to the centre of Geelong. Highly recommended.

One of the most beautiful Airbnbs we have stayed in. Very stylish and modern feel. Great place for a family gathering. Can imagine coming back with friends and sharing the whole space. Bedroom was tastefully decorated and shared kitchen well equipped. Helpful to ga e laundry facilities and pool looked really inviting. My only minor negative was that the external wall for our bedroom housed all the air conditioning units so there was a constant humming sound throughout the night but imagine other rooms wouldn’t have had this issue. We would defo stay again so it wasn’t enough to put us off returning.

This is an ideal place for a short stay with pets. Facilities are clean, and pets have easy access to an enclosed yard. Very affordable accommodation on a budget. Shower and bathroom clean and very comfortable bedding.

Lovely and relaxing stay. The grounds are beautiful, and the coffee at the on-site café was great. Would certainly stay again if in the area or to break up a long drive as we did this trip. I was a little surprised at check-in to find we’d been allocated the only accessible room, as we hadn’t requested one. However, after reaching out, Ashleigh was very helpful and assisted in moving us to another available room. I’d recommend specifying your preference when booking if you’d prefer a standard room, as the shower and toilet facilities are nicer unless you specifically require an accessible setup.

We would definitely stay at Solterra again. A lovely location, good amenities, and the Marong Family Hotel is five minutes away and serves fabulous food. Booking requirements and entry instructions are a bit lengthy but clear, so the process of finding and getting access was easy.

We had a fantastic stay at The Acanthus Leaf Apartment on Malop Street. The space was incredibly homely, well-presented, and had everything we needed for a comfortable couple of days away. You can tell a lot of care has gone into making the apartment feel welcoming rather than just somewhere to sleep. The location is a huge highlight – right in the heart of Geelong, with easy access to shops, cafes, and the waterfront. It made getting around so convenient and meant we could really make the most of our time without needing to travel far. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. Communication was smooth, and the overall experience felt effortless from start to finish. We’d definitely stay here again and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a central, cosy place to stay in Geelong.

We really enjoyed our one night stay in the comfortable accommodation amidst the vineyard. It was a lovely place to stay, and a treat to have a double headed shower, huge bathtub and bathroom  - plus a large bedroom with plush furnishings as well. We were only staying as an overnight stop on a road trip, but it really stood out for us and we'd happily go back / recommend it to others. There's no staff on site for the hotel so it felt a little odd, but also secluded as a result. Regardless it felt secure and when we needed to contact staff they were very communicative messaging us back right away. Enjoy your time here like we did.

We were very comfortable spending Easter here. Easy walk to cafe for coffee, to the beach, the cliff walk and the river. It was peaceful

It was amazing as the place was just what we were looking for. I was super close to the city. I had a warm cozy feeling from the minute we entered the property. Fantastic home with an incredible vista to gaze out toward. Aireys Lighthouse and the ocean in full view.

The home is nestled in a beautiful pocket of Fairhaven with an abundance of nearby walks and close to Onda cafe.

We stayed with 7 of us and we all fit around the couch each night. The kitchen is well equipped to cater for larger groups for when we cooked.

We will definitely be back!

Really awesome home, the views from the deck was spectacular and it really took us by surprise. The rooms were really well decorated and we loved the addition of table tennis and a stocked shelf full of board games. 

I really wished they had included bath mats, towels, tea towels and linen, as most airbnb listings usually include it.

All in all, it was a great place to spend the weekend and would highly recommend this lovely home

Great house, great view. You are asked to clean it yourself (dishes, rubbish out, vacuum and sweep) when leaving which is unusual these days so factor this in to your plans.

Thank you for a relaxing stay at Fairhaven. The house is comfy and has great size bedrooms downstairs. Very good views of the lighthouse. We loved the table tennis too.  The nearby Onda Food House was a treat - awesome coffee and delicious breakfast menu.
As a general note for Great Ocean Retreats, we would have preferred the beds free of any linen (no doona covers or pillow cases) instead of having to strip the existing doona covers and pillow cases before putting our fresh sheets on.

We had an absolutely lovely stay here. Spacious rooms and kitchen, great deck and lounge areas, plus a sweet leafy outdoor space with table out the back. Everything you need and a fantastic view of the beach from the deck!! Would absolutely recommend a stay here – I'm sure we'll be back!

The house was exactly as pictured, we loved our stay. The little touches throughout the house were thoughtful. The house was very clean and cosy, the kitchen very well equipped, and the wood heater was brilliant. There are two separate living areas, and two outdoor settings, lots of room for my family. The backyard was well fenced and secure for our dog, she loved the doggy door!

A fantastic house for two families to share.  Two bedrooms, family room and bathroom on bottom level for one family.  Two bedrooms, bathroom and toilet on second level for the other family.  Kitchen, dining living upstairs for everyone to share.  Newly renovated, well equipped kitchen, great log fire and views over the lighthouse.  Easy walk into town and the beach.  Would love to come back in summer and put the BBQ, outdoor shower and balcony to use.  Highly recommend.

It is a great place to enjoy holidays.  The location is very close to the beach. It has a large balcony with a fantastic view that you can chill out and have outdoor dining.
